Just went to the gym. And I decided that I hate arms... mine in particular. They suck, and they're really weak. Not to mention oddly shaped. I have no shoulders (bad for bras and purses) then they get really big right under my shoulders... ew.
But anyway, here's what I did at the gym.
Started out with 16 minutes on the elliptical. Would've liked to do more, (I usually do 30) but I was kind of tired, seeing as I spent all day at Sea World. Next, I did arm weights and here are my stats, so you can see how bad I suck.
Pec Fly: 30 lbs - 3 reps (8 per rep)
Lat pulldown: 40lbs - 5 reps (8 per rep)
Triceps extension: 25 lbs - 4 reps (8 per rep)
Biceps curl: 20 lbs - 5 reps (8 per rep)
Overhead press: 25 lbs - 3 reps (8 per rep)
My shoulders are really weak. I only did 3 reps, and I was shaking the whole time.
SUCKSVILLE...population me.
Anywho, after the workout, I went into the steam room for about 10 minutes, and it felt sooo good after wards.
I'm supposed to have my "weigh in" tomorrow, but I have been really bad with my eating the past couple of days. I had Nachos on Wednesday, Jason's Deli last night, and nachos and 2 pepsi's at Sea World... AND a cheeseburger and fries for dinner tonight. :-/.... I could just kick myself.
I think I might wait till Monday for the weigh in.
Until next time.....

Slow and Steady wins the race.
Hello all. Just starting week 3 of the diet... I mean... lifestyle change. I went to my WW meeting friday and was really worried, cause I had eaten out a few times, and didn't feel like I had lost any, or perhaps I had gained. :-/ But I had lost 1.4 lbs. Better than 0, or +lbs.
Starting weight - 220.6
Current weight - 216.2
I haven't worked out at all yet, and need to start doing so. I've just been busy starting the new job, but now that I'm situated, I'll really be able to hit the ground running. (Literally)
It's going slower than I'd hoped, but I know that those who lose the weight slower, keep it off longer... So, that's my motivation.
I'm going to Austin tomorrow to teach at a dance camp, and maybe I'll hit up Lifetime and get my sweat on.
Till next time...

Day 2
Yesterday, I joined Weight Watchers and went to me first meeting. It was awesome!! The leaders and other members were SUPER nice, and I really feel like I will be able to get a lot of support there. After the meeting, I feel really pumped up about this program, and seeing the results. I had to have my initial weigh in, which I really did NOT want to do, but I just kept telling myself that it won't be this number for long, or EVER again!!
Week of 7/24/09:
Starting weight - 220.6 lbs
My Point allowance is 31 points per day. Yesterday went really well. I actually had 9.5 points left over at the end of the day! Today is a little harder, because I have had a headache all day, due to not having any caffeine or sugary fatty foods to fuel my body with energy. I will get used to it soon, but the first week is the hardest. I have 10 points left over today too.
I will post my progress soon.
